UniqCast Cloud Gathers Momentum on IBC 2022
We really enjoyed these four days of exhibition at IBC 2022 in Amsterdam. After three years without IBC, everybody was eagerly waiting for this exhibition to finally happen and enthusiasm, as well as a positive atmosphere, was felt throughout the show. It was super nice to meet partners, customers, and other visitors in person and present them with all our novelties. And it was plenty of them!
There was a lot of interest in UniqCast Cloud that we announced just before the show. Many operators really liked the fact that they can launch their own premium UX in a day, without the up-front cost. We are looking forward to connecting with several new customers in the following weeks.
We got very positive feedback on all the major features that we were demonstrating. Our new client applications for STB, web, and mobile with premium UX, video thumbnails, and easy-to-use navigation were really a hit. Everybody loved the new Netflix-like UI with all UX improvements. People simply can’t stop using the applications.
The new event highlights feature also drew a lot of attention. All the operators agreed that this feature, especially used on major sports events, e.g. showing goals and other opportunities, is an excellent tool to attract new subscribers as well as to keep existing ones and decrease churn.
Lastly, the latest improvements in advertising, allow operators to get additional revenues and increase ARPU from video ads on VOD, Live TV, or Catch Up TV content. With a powerful backend, operators can create several different business models such as AVOD, FAST or other combinations.

There were many other improvements that our existing customers and other visitors liked in the demo and we are very happy that we bring in the right things to our platform. The number of visitors on our stand is additional proof that we are doing the right things and this gives us great motivation to continue in the planned direction.
